Mechiras Chometz

Personal Mechiras Chometz Instructions:

If unable to meet me in person to sign and make a Kinyan, do the following:

1. Download and Print out the document below.

2. Fill in the (Hebrew) date in the Month of Nissan, before the words "לחדש ניסן".

3. Fill in the City and State (and Country if applicable) after the words "פה עיר".

4. Sign in the line marked "נאום".

5. Add in the addresses where the Chametz is located (Home, Office, Etc.), and if you have a car, use the line to write the Make, Model and License Plate number.

6. Scan (or take a picture) of the signed document and email to: RabbiShuchat@gmail.com, or send via SMS to 248-247-4900, or via Whatsapp to: https://wa.me/12482474900?text=%20MechirasChometz, or via Fax to 516-321-1413

7. If one is unable to print and sign the document below, an online form may be used using THIS LINK.

2. On Sunday Night (Bedikas Chometz Night)  or Monday morning (BEFORE 11:00am NYC time) do the following:

4. Sign in the line marked "נאום"

5. Scan (or take pictures) of the signed document, and of ALL the Mechiras Chometz forms you have received from your community, and email to: RabbiShuchat@gmail.com, or send via SMS to 248-247-4900, or via Whatsapp to: https://wa.me/12482474900?text=%20MechirasChometz, or via Fax to 516-321-1413

6. Don't forget to fill out and sign your own personal "Mechiras Chometz" document (above form).
